Adult Nurse Practitioner Tejiri Ojaruega is dedicated to providing personalized care to each patient. With almost 10 years in the healthcare field, her journey began humbly as a nursing assistant, helping patients with their most basic needs. That foundation shaped everything that followed.

Tejiri graduated from a hospital teaching nursing program in Brockton, Massachusetts in 2016. Tejiri received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Rhode Island in 2018.

After relocating to Texas, she  pursued an advanced degree and went on to become an Adult-Gerontology Nurse  Practitioner, earning a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Texas Woman’s University. Over the years, Tejiri worked across various healthcare settings, gaining experience in primary care, chronic disease management, and wellness-based care. But often found wishing she had more time; more time to listen, to understand symptoms, and to treat the whole person rather than just the condition.

Tejiri founded VitalHealth–Prosper with a vision to deliver care that’s modern, comprehensive, and deeply personal, where patients feel truly seen, heard, and supported, and she brings that belief into every visit at VitalHealth–Prosper.
